Arnaud Deutsch - Regional Manager for Auckland

Arnaud has successfully advised and participated in the strategy, leadership and management on some of the most innovative commercial delivery models and transaction processes for large infrastructure projects in New Zealand and overseas.

With over 20 years of experience as a multi-disciplinary engineer with a passion for public infrastructure, Arnaud understands the opportunity, the risks to mitigate, and builds teams that deliver.

Using design thinking, agile processes and facilitation skills, he successfully manages the tension between his client’s cultural and regulatory environments and the need to deliver faster processes and higher, broader value.

Arnaud is a certified procurement practitioner, chartered engineer and professional commercial mediator with a sound understanding of client and market risk appetite. His experience covers the complete spectrum from strategic planning, asset management, project development, procurement, delivery and construction management.

Tim Cope - General Manager, Environmental Remediation Project Management

Tim is an Executive General Manager, leading the Environmental Remediation Project Management service line within RPS. The team navigates clients through the uncertainty of emerging contaminants, such as per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), and the evolving regulatory environment, focussed on the provision of Project and Programme Management services. They provide expertise across governance, technical policy, environmental investigations, remediation activities, and stakeholder engagement and communications.

Tim is a qualified Architect (RAIA) and AIPM Certified Practicing Portfolio Executive (CPPE) with extensive global experience as an Executive Development and Project Manager. He has worked in the Australasian, South East Asian, Japanese and Middle Eastern markets for 20 years. His experience covers a wide range of project typologies which include; Environmental, Defence, UXO/CWA, Mixed use urban developments, Airports, Hotels, Retail, Residential, Commercial, Government, Financial, Corrections and Justice, extending to large scale national and global programmes of works.

Ruairi Hanly - Practice Lead, Contaminated Land Management

Ruairi is Practice Lead – Contaminated Land Management for the RPS Group. He has over 20 years of professional and global experience in the environmental industry.

Ruairi provides his clients with a well-balanced blend of technical and management experience. In his technical experience his lateral thinking and commercial acumen ensure innovative, high-quality, and customised outcomes for clients.

While in his management experience his collaborative, communicative and corporative style of management ensures team members all understand the project objectives and delivery requirements aligned to client needs.

Ruairi specialises in Contaminated Land Management and Remediation, Environmental Regulation and Policy, Baseline Environmental Assessments Environmental Site and Impact Assessments, Environmental Monitoring and Compliance, Contractor supervision and Health and Safety Audits, STPs, Environmental Regulation and Permitting, Mine Remediation all underpinned with Environmental Health and Quality Management System implementation and management.

Alistair Kingston – Executive General Manager, Insights, Communication and creatives

Starting his 20+ year career as a TV journalist in Queensland, Alistair moved into corporate and media relations, before joining RPS and beginning his career as an engagement practitioner back in the mid-2000s. Since then, he’s designed, delivered, and led engagement programs on many major projects along Australia’s east coast – including many of Sydney and Melbourne’s city-shaping transport initiatives.

Alistair leads the RPS team that delivers engagement, social advisory, visual communication and data analytics on some of Australia’s biggest and most significant infrastructure projects. The focus is to genuinely and effectively engage with community and stakeholders to identify and understand what’s important, and then collaborate with project teams to deliver infrastructure that enables and enhances our cities and communities.

Alistair has worked across the project lifecycle in the public transport, electricity, road and water infrastructure sectors, and been an Alliance Management Team member on four alliances in New South Wales and Victoria.
