Te Aka Whai Mahi: Find Your Path is a free* coaching service provided by Hokonui Rūnanga’s Anamata Māia: Bold, Confident Futures Team.
*The service is free for those:
- Aged between 18-24 years.
- Who have been on a Benefit for more than 3 months.
What we offer
If you meet the criteria above, we can help you find a pathway to the life and work you want. We offer:
- One-to-one pathway coaching.
- Help to access education and training.
- Support to align life commitments and work.
Start when you are ready. We’ll provide you with one-to-one coaching to support and sustain your pathway in work, education, and training.

We will coach you to build a sense of life and work purpose, and identify the best options to learn and progress towards a future that works for you.
Once on your pathway, we will support you to settle into a new routine and navigate life’s challenges.
How do I get involved? 4 easy steps:
- Get a referral from your Work and Income Case Manager.
- Come and see the Anamata Māia Team – and create your pathway plan.
- Work with us to implement your plan.
- Sustain your pathway with ongoing support from us.
